Open Positions
We are currently seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates for MSc and PhD positions in the field of structural engineering. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment.
MSc candidates should have a strong background in structural engineering or a related field (such as, but not limited: electrical engineering and material engineering). The candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
PhD candidates should have a Master's degree in engineering or a related field, and must have a strong academic record.
The successful candidates will work under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Yiska Goldfeld and will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment of the ISLab. The research projects will focus on smart structures; structural health monitoring of civil structures and infrastructures; and experimental and theoretical investigations of the structural performance of thin walled TRC structures.
